WHO CAN APPLY: Professionally active cultural workers in Sweden. NOTE! We are happy to see single parents as applicants! - We will arrange babysitting.


DansPlats Skog DansPlats Skog is primarily a dance residence, but we encourage applicants in more art forms to apply for these residences in mind what can be used and function in our premises. The workplace is DansPlats Skog - a former mission church in the village of Skog in Söderhamn Municipality, Gävleborg. The venue has a stage room (11'14 meters) that can be darkened, with dance mat and PA. We also have a workplace in the stands (approx. 60 sqm.) That can function as an open studio. * If you as an artist choose to work in the stands, keep in mind that the sound of dance will coexist! There is also a dance floor on the plot. The accommodation is in the guest house "Den lilla svarta" which is located on DansPlats Skogs gård. The guest house has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and 3 beds. THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE RESIDENCE: Accommodation, work space, travel (for a maximum of 3 people) ev. babysitter and a fee of SEK 15,000 (on invoice). APPLICATION: By April 18, 2022 Send a short description of your art practice, what you want to work with during your residency, if you have children with you and need a babysitter and what period you wish to do residency. NOTE! Max an A4: a. Also attach a minimum of one and a maximum of five work samples in any digital form.
